Hammer R/W Decent At All?
A while back I noticed the "the Hammer and the Anvil" build on the GWGuru builds directory. Seemed interesting, so I made an R/W. I later gained several great hammers, and although I haven't gotten to the level to use them, I'm wondering if this is even an effective build anymore, or if it ever was.

It's an ok build (much weaker than a normal Hammer Warrior) however then again you can spam Irresistable Blow, and can pretty much have Tiger's Fury up all the time so you can knockdown more often...

Also as a ranger primary you can efficiently use Apply Poison to boost your damage per second a decent bit.

So, should I bother keeping the character? He's around level 8.

I recently played a late night game in random arena. Since most of America wa asleep, i kept playin a whole mess of Koreans. And what do ya know? fought all sorts of weird builds, one was the R/W hammer build.
Imho, WOW he was good. Was constantly knocking me down, used stances often, hit fast, and yes, applied poison. It was a real nuisance to other warriors especially, cause he was able to keep a stance almost the whole time along with fast hitting from a hammer = ARRRrrgh OUCH!!!
im thinking of making my own sometime.

R/W are not very functional as compared to a W/? in damage. This doesn't mean you can't have fun, though.
